A 19-year-old Gwanda man was caught red-handed satisfying his sexual desires with a donkey. The suspect, Noel Dube of Sonondo suburb in Gwanda Town was spotted by police officers who were on patrol along Phakama-Garikai road and they arrested him. Matabeleland South police spokesperson Inspector Philisani Ndebele said the incident occurred at about 11pm on Monday.
“On Monday our officers were on night patrol when they came across Dube standing behind a donkey and they became suspicious and stopped their vehicle to investigate.
“They beamed the vehicle lights towards the suspect and saw him being intimate with a female donkey during which he tried to flee but they gave chase and caught up with him leading to his arrest,” he said.
Insp Ndebele said Dube would appear in court soon to answer to a charge of bestiality.
