Prepare for a musical treat from the talented artists of Gwanda as Intercessor and Lance Hebron join forces to present a scorching new music album slated for release next month.
This eight-track masterpiece, aptly titled “Ezimnandi,” promises a genre-defying experience, with elements of Afropop, Amapiano, and Afro House. Lance Hebron, known for his production of Novuyo Seagirl’s hit “A.E.I.O.U,” and Intercessor, a symbol of cultural pride in Zimbabwe for promoting Sesotho culture through his music, have come together to create something truly exceptional.

“Ezimnandi” features a lineup of tracks that are sure to captivate music enthusiasts. The title track itself sets the tone for the album’s infectious rhythms. “Never let you go” showcases collaborations with Yanda and Micky Ganjah, adding layers of musical complexity. Igama Lakho, Ingubo Enamehlo featuring Madlela Skhobokhobo, Kwagog’ Obomvu, Umnandi featuring Kay_Kid Umfanomsotho, Ngithanda wena featuring Khinah Zw, and “Bulawayo Centre” round out this diverse and dynamic collection.
Intercessor said all is set for the release of the album.
“We decided to rope in a number of artistes from across genres so as to show the talent that is so in abundance in our region and we hope the album will be received with warm arms.
“We started recording the album early this year around March. We have been working together with Lance Hebron since 2019. The plan to do the album came after we did a single that we were planning to drop titled ‘uMnandi’ where we featured uMfanomsotho. We didn’t have enough budget to push the song. As we were preparing the budget, we decided to do a joint album so that we release everything once on one budget,” said Intercessor.
Lance Hebron is one of the best versatile producers in Zimbabwe while Intercessor is a renowned vocalist.
