GOSPEL musician Wiseman Gwashure has released a new album titled “Kudenga kuna Mwari”.
The 46-year-old said his latest project was inspired by fellow gospel singer and church member, Mambo Dhuterere.
In an interview with The Sunday Mail Society, Gwashure said he has been in the music industry for a while and finds Mambo Dhuterere’s touch irresistible and spiritually uplifting.
However, the two musicians play different genres.
“I like his type of music, which is unique. I sing a different genre. We are also members of the same church and I am looking forward to doing a collaboration with him,” said Gwashure.
“As a believer and a gospel artiste, I am very much inspired by Mambo Dhuterere. He is working for God, preaching the word of God through music and bringing salvation to many souls.”
The musician said his message is aimed at encouraging people to stay strong in trying times.
“I encourage people to believe in God no matter what circumstances or challenges they may face. Nothing should separate us from the love of God,” he said.
The Norton-based artiste’s wish is to attract the attention of many through his music.
He believes he has a good contemporary sound that cuts across the generational divide.
“I would like my music to spread and reach many people so that I can help save lives by bringing them (people) to God for salvation. Our message is simple and easy to understand,” said Gwashure.
“I am also expecting new doors to open in my music career.”
The musician now has seven albums under his belt, namely, “Rugare” (2014), “Danga” (2015), “Ndipei Meso” (2016), “Ndaiona Tsoro” (2017), “Mwari Wandinonamata” (2018), “Simbarashe” (2019) and the latest offering.
