THE Harare Cup Clash at the City Sports Centre has proved that the future of Zimdancehall is in safe hands as many artists managed to produce top performances.

Musical fans were taken back to the 2014-15 Zimdancehall era as wheel spinners made rounds playing songs that took all Zimdancehall fans down the memory lane.

Speaking to H-Metro, one fan said he was thrilled to witness the real Zimdancehall.

“I am happy to see my favourite artists on the stage performing,” he said.

“These performances, we last saw them ages ago, that was in 2014 when the Sting Festival was held.

“I hope they keep on doing what they did because that is the only way this genre is going to survive.

“All I can say is the future looks bright.”

He hailed event organisers, Chipaz Promotions, for bringing together top and upcoming chanters under one roof.

The upcoming artists gave energetic performances with Culture Love thrilling fans with his comic songs on stage.

DJ Fantan and Kwekwe-based entertainer DJ Fidale kept fans on their toes.
