Habana’s windfall

CAPE TOWN. — Springbok wing Bryan Habana is the third highest earner in the French Top 14, reportedly earning around R660 000 per month. According to French newspaper Le Journal du Dimanche, Habana’s Toulon team-mate Jonny Wilkinson is the highest earner in the French Top 14 with €56 000 per month, followed by Jonathan Sexton (€52 000) and then Habana on €50 000. French rugby’s top flight but fresh claims suggest Wilkinson’s deal will see him eclipse his Irish rival.
