Hani killer derby-Lewis dies

Cape Town – Clive Derby-Lewis has died after a long battle with lung cancer.

He was released on medical parole last year after doctors found that he already had stage 4 cancer.

His wife Gaye confirmed the death of her 80-year-old husband in hospital to Maroela Media.

The former right-wing politician, who supplied the gun Janusz Walus used to kill SACP leader Chris Hani, was released on medical parole in June last year after obtaining a High Court order for his release.
