THE race for World Amateur Golf Championship tickets continues when the Harare Amateur Championships tees off at Country Club tomorrow.
More than 40 players are expected to take part in the fourth tournament of the qualifying circuit. United States-based golfer Ray Badenhorst is leading the qualifiers.

Badernhorst has not won any competition, but had two second-place finishes in the Manicaland and Matebeleland Amateur tournaments to remain on top of the Order of Merit.

Tonderai Masunga is second in the race. The quality of the amateur tournaments have improved this season and most of the players did very well when they played with professionals last week.
The tournament is divided into four categories with the championship Division, A Division, B Division and C Division.
