Harare Carnival preps hot up

Preparations for the Harare International Carnival have gathered momentum with various stakeholders coming together to launch a clean-up campaign ahead of the prestigious event which roars to life next month.
Speaking at the launch, Zimbabwe Tourism Authority (ZTA) board chairperson Mrs Marah Hativagone said the launch was meant to build momentum for the 2014 edition of the Harare International Carnival which will be held in the capital from May 16-25.

“Today’s event is meant to build momentum for the 2014 edition of the Harare international Carnival that will be hosted from 16 to 25 may 2014,” she said.
“Since all eyes will be on us, it is imperative that we portray a good image of a clean and habitable environment.”
The clean-up campaign will run under the theme: “Celebrating a Cleaner Environment.”
