Harare City Council engagement meetings set for Wards 9 and 17

Residents in Harare’s Wards 9 and 17 are set to attend service delivery feedback meetings to engage council officials on key municipal issues affecting their communities.

Ward 9 (Harare East) will hold its meeting on Thursday at 5 pm at Greendale Sports Club. The agenda includes the prepaid water meter project, road rehabilitation, waste collection, town planning and development control, the master plan, the Council Stabilisation Plan and revenue collection.

Ward 17 (Mt Pleasant) will hold its feedback meeting on Saturday next week at 10 am at MacDonald Swimming Pool.

Residents are expected to discuss issues relating to town planning, roads, water supply, public lighting, the building inspectorate and billing.
