HARARE City Council has temporarily closed off part of Green Trees Road in Aspindale to allow for maintenance and repair work.

Harare’s acting town clerk Advocate Warren Chiwawa advised of the closure in a statement released on Monday Afternoon.

The section, he said, will be reopened to traffic on November 30.

“The public is advised that there shall be temporary road closure for maintenance and repair works on part of Green Trees Road, Aspindale,” read the statement.

Adv Chiwawa said motorists are advised that the closure would take effect from November 2 and is scheduled to run until November 30, 2026.

Motorists have been advised to use alternative routes during the closure and exercise caution when approaching the affected area.

The City of Harare apologised to motorists and residents for the inconvenience, saying it sincerely regretted any disruption caused by the temporary closure.
