HARARE West Member of Parliament Ms Joana Mamombe is expected to hold constituency feedback meetings this weekend in Wards 41 and 16 to update residents on development projects, legislative matters and ongoing parliamentary business.
The Ward 41 meeting will be held on Saturday at the Marlborough District Office, while the Ward 16 meeting is scheduled for Sunday at the Mabelreign District Office.
Ms Mamombe said the meetings will focus on Constituency Development Fund (CDF) projects, Bills currently before Parliament and other legislative issues affecting residents.
She also announced that vulnerable households in the constituency would receive rice donated by the Government of the People’s Republic of China to the Government of Zimbabwe.
“This coming weekend, we will be distributing rice to assist vulnerable members of our constituency,” she said.
“The rice was donated by the Government of the People’s Republic of China to the Government of Zimbabwe.
“We are working with community leaders, including suburb chairpersons, churches and political parties, to help identify and inform vulnerable households in our areas so that those most in need can benefit from this support,” she said.
