“Our team is well prepared as we have been practising and I believe we will come out with a good result. The tour to Durban will be an opener for us and I hope we will enjoy the tour.
“It will be eight days of rugby so I believe we will learn a lot from the tour. The boys are ready and I will continue to motivate them,” Muza said.
The Hartman House Under-14 rugby team yesterday received some sporting kits from Africa Lotto as they prepare to leave for a tour of South Africa next week.
The team will tour the neighboring country for the event that will take place from April 10-19 but the team will depart on the ninth of April.
Speaking at the ceremony Tarisai Chipamaunga of Hammer and Tongue said they are happy to be associated with Hartman House’s sports and wish the boys all the best during the tour.
“We are very confident that you will do well in the event considering that some of the players who attended the event last year are still in the team.
“The team is still solid and it is my hope that the players will get the much needed exposure and the support we are giving will go a long way. The Durban Tour is important for them as it is home to the Sharks.
“There are 26 players who will tour South Africa for a series of events.
“Last year the team managed to do well at the event and we hope as they go back again this year they will improve from last year’s outing,” Chipamaunga added.
The team got support from auctioneers Hammer and Tongue and Africa Lotto and they both believe that associating with the school is a good thing as it will work as a motivator to the youngsters.
“We just feel that the youngsters need our support especially going to play in a foreign land. The kids need to be smart so they will not feel out of place.
“Supporting the Under-14 is good as this makes the foundation where our senior team can be built from in the near feature,” said Chipamaunga.
