Has Damasus snatched Sirmeon’s ex-hubby?

And while no one, except the couple can answer for sure, those who should know are speculating that the pair have taken their controversial relationship to another level; secretly exchanging wedding vows, before escaping to the US for what could be a honeymoon.

The denials are vehement, with Damasus — who’s been married twice before now — more than “upset”  with those that ran with the wedding story. But she’s not come out to say outrightly that the reports are false; just as she’s never satisfactorily explained her closeness with Daniel Ademinokan, the younger director whose marriage with another actress Doris Simeon packed up only recently.

Not that she’s new to controversies though: Her wedding to late husband Jaiyejeje Aboderin was contracted under controversial circumstances; she’s been rumoured to date dozens of men (including Richard Mofe-Damijo, Sammie Okposo and Mofe Duncan) and she was locked in an intense battle with her in-laws for years, following her first husband’s shocking death at 33.

After a long rumoured romance, Stella married Lagos businessman, Emeka Nzeribe in 2008 but the marriage crashed just after nine months following allegations of incompatibility and infidelity.

When the rumours of Stella’s new marriage to Daniel went viral, Wunmi Obe, the elder sister of her first husband, Jaiye, wrote on her Twitter handle: “Vindicated at last! Jaiye, it’s over . . . sleep on, brother,” causing a flurry of reactions online and offline. Wunmi declined further comments when NET contacted her.
Daniel’s ex-wife, actress Doris Simeon, would also not comment, choosing to keep her silence.

And, with Stella and her BFF not responding to our enquiries, it’s difficult to say for sure, what exactly is happening.
But here’s what the actress’ publicist wants us to believe: “I have said this over and over again, Stella and Daniel are not married and are definitely not dating.” — NET.
