SPORTING XI FC vice-captain Onismo Mudavanhu said they are looking to play one more game outside Harare before the festive season.
His team made a trip to Marondera where they beat Proton FC 3-1.
Mudavanhu said they were likely to travel to Bulawayo for their last game of this year.
“We have been playing against social teams in Harare and we feel it was time we tested ourselves against teams outside the capital,” he said.
“Our target was to have two away trips this month and we’ve already had one.
“We are now looking at scheduling a fixture in Bulawayo before year-end.
“If Bulawayo doesn’t materialise, we are likely to get ourselves a date in Kariba.
“Kariba is also good in the sense that it promotes domestic tourism.
“But, it would be easy, logistically, for a Bulawayo trip,” he said.
He said the players put up quite a good show against Proton.
“It was a good game and we managed to break the Proton defence which had looked solid. “There is no team that wants to lose at home and so it shows how good we were.
“We want to end the year on a high with our unbeaten run.
“We last lost in February and it really shows how committed our players are.”
