A HARARE man is at loggerheads with his uncle whom he accuses of regularly messing the toilet.

Prosper Kufakwemeso accused his uncle, George Taundi, of not flushing the toilet every time he uses it.

He applied for a protection order yesterday at the Harare Civil Court.

This matter was presided over by Magistrate Tamara Chibindi, who dismissed the application for lack of merit.

Prosper said that George was being ungrateful as he was the one taking care of him and catering for all the family needs.

He also accused him of invading his privacy as he enters his bedroom whenever he pleases.

He claimed that he uses the toilet and leaves it dirty.

“He messes up the toilet and this affects my children, and the whole family, in terms of     hygiene.

“George is my uncle and l am taking care of him, but he doesn’t appreciate my efforts rather he takes advantage of me because culturally l am his son,” said Prosper.

George denied the allegations saying that the house belongs to his mother.

He also claimed that prosper is abusive because at one time he threatened to assault him with a baseball bat.

“I am not a fool to leave the toilet messed up as l am educated and civilised at the same time and all these are false allegations.

“Prosper tarnished my name with my in-laws which is not a proper thing to do.”
