The health ambassadors are doing free diabetes, HIV and other diseases testing.

After tests, they give residents medicine and refer them to a hospital where they will be further assisted.

Bulawayo vice president of Health Ambassadors for ED Mr Ganizani Phiri called for people living in suburbs surrounding UCCSA Pelanda to come for free consultation and get help.

“We started this initiative because we believe instead of complaining we should complement the Government. That is why we are inviting everyone to come and get checked for free. We are going to be in the area from 9 am till 4pm,” he said.
