A Nkulumane woman has reportedly failed to forgive her husband over an undisclosed 2007 issue and up to date thoroughly bashes him for the a�?offencea�?.
For the past 10 years, Tariro Batia��s life has been hell as his wife Concilia Paradza beats him every day.
As a result of the beatings, Bati does not have peace in his life and it has affected his health as he is always stressed.
Bati has therefore, decided to seek a protection order against the abusive wife and an order for her to move out of his house.
a�?We are customarily married. Since 1980A� I have never had peace in my life as she always beats me up every day. My life is in danger and I am afraid that if I try to fight back I might end up on the wrong side of the law.
a�?Everything is now out of hand and ita��s affecting my health thata��s the reason Ia��m seeking a protection order against her,a�? said Bati.
He further revealed that the woman at times would be beating him over an issue which happened in 2007 and had not forgiven him.
a�?I want her out of my house and worse I always see her with another man, our neighbour,a�? he said.
She confirmed beating him up.
a�?He accuses me of being a prostitute that is why I assault him,a�? she said.
The presiding magistrate Tancy Dube granted the protection order.
The court also heard that the couple was once recommended to go for counselling, but the counsellors said they had some challenges as the man was a heavy drinker and the couple was difficult to deal with as they were not co-operative.
