Henry respects decision

LONDON. — Thierry Henry insists he respects Arsene Wenger’s decision to sack him from the coaching set up at Arsenal.

Henry was given an ultimatum to leave his job as a pundit for Sky if he wanted to continue as a youth coach. But the club legend rejected Wenger’s request and has left the club. Henry had been working for the under 18 squad – free of charge — as well as working as a pundit. “I would like to thank Andries Jonker for offering me the chance to coach the U18’s @arsenal, which I was honoured to accept,” he tweeted. — The Daily Express.
