A Nkayi teenager was left nursing a swollen manhood when his employer’s neighbour allegedly “raped” him after he turned down her love proposal, a court heard.

Nomathemba Ndlovu, 24, from Sikhobokhobo area allegedly sexually abused the boy, 16, on November 25 last year.

Ndlovu appeared before regional magistrate Sibongile Msipa-Marondedze facing aggravated indecent assault charges and pleaded not guilty.

Her trial is set to commence next week.

Prosecuting Paida Zengeni said on November 25 last year at around 3PM, Ndlovu went to her neighbour’s homestead and approached the boy.

“She proposed love to the boy and he turned her down. The boy walked away from Ndlovu heading towards a kitchen hut. Ndlovu followed him into the kitchen and grabbed him,” said Zengeni.

The court heard that Ndlovu caressed the boy all over the body and later forced him to lie down.

“Ndlovu undressed the boy and forced him to have intercourse. The boy sustained swollen privates in the process. Ndlovu released the boy and went away,” she said.

Zengeni added that the matter came to light when the boy’s mother saw that he had developed difficulties when walking.

His mother questioned him and the boy told his mother that Ndlovu had forced him to have intercourse leading to the swelling of his manhood.

He was referred to hospital for medical examination and a medical report to be used as evidence was produced.
