THE Higher Education Examinations Council (HEXCO) has released results for March 2025 industrial training and trade tests theory examinations, recording a 67 percent pass rate.

Permanent Secretary for Higher and Tertiary Education, Innovation, Science and Technology Development Professor Fanuel Tagwira expressed gratitude to all stakeholders who contributed to the administration and success of the examinations.

“Their contribution towards the success of the examinations has resulted in the achievement of a 67 percent pass rate,” Prof Tagwira stated.

This year’s pass rate marks a slight improvement from the March 2024 session, which recorded a 64 percent pass rate, reflecting consistent gains in the national technical education system.

Last year, officials highlighted challenges such as limited resources and logistical constraints, which slightly affected performance. However, improvements in the examination process and support systems have been credited for this year’s progress.

Candidates are advised to collect their results from their regions.
