CHAPUNGU, still basking in the glory of their stunning victory over Dynamos, want to keep the momentum when they meet Shabanie at Ascot tomorrow in a Castle Lager Premiership tie.
Coach John Nyikadzino said his charges should not be carried away by their victory over DeMbare and wants them to focus on their match against Shabanie .
“We played well against Dynamos and we were rewarded in the end. However, we would not allow the players to be carried away by the victory over Dynamos,” said Nyikadzino.
Talent Mwale’s first half goal made all the difference. “We are focusing on our next match against Shabanie who also had a good game on Wednesday.
“We are definitely going to collect maximum points and maintain our unbeaten home record,” said Nyikadzino. Chapungu will be without two keys players Rodwell Mhlanga and Courage Muzire who were sent off during the match against Dynamos. “This definitely will affect our type of play but I have perfect replacements for the two,” he said.
