High Flying Stars date Eagle Life in Christian League

BULAWAYO Christian League log leaders Flying Stars will seek to maintain their dominance when they face Eagle Life Family Church in a potentially exciting tie set for Saturday.

Flying Stars are the only team in the league that is yet to taste defeat. They have amassed a total of 15 points from six outings that they have played so far.

The Timothy Mandizadza-led Sangano Legends, who are the leaguea��s defending champions, are second from the bottom in an-eight team league and on Saturday they take on Brethren in Christ Church in Nketa.

a�?We were facing some financial constraints and as a result we delayed to affiliate with the league. We joined the league after four rounds of play. We hope we are going to catch up with the other clubs,a�? said Mandizadza.

Sangano are tied on four points together with equally struggling Chosen Generation.

Crescent Sports Club will be the venue for the game between bottom-placed Victory Fellowship Church and second-placed Word of Life Nkulumane.

Victory Fellowship are on zero points and their Saturday opponents are on eight points, one ahead of Eagle Life Assembly.
