THE Selekta Base Blowout Festival Grand Finale 2025 is set to roar into life on Sunday at Borrowdale Racecourse, promising an explosive celebration of car culture, music and lifestyle.
The adrenaline-charged event will feature burnouts, car exhibitions, bikers, static car displays, live entertainment and fireworks to light up the Harare skyline.
South African teenage stunt sensations Tassy and Tye Tye are headlining the show, bringing youthful excitement to the high-speed action.
They will share the stage with popular musicians Enzo Ishall and Runner Rules, while MC Boi Mac will keep the crowd entertained.
DJs Rawse, Oslato and Wowrare will be on the decks providing music throughout the day.
Event organiser Arnold Chingwerewe, popularly known as Selekta Base said festival-goers should brace for unmatched energy and spectacular displays.
“Normally, people should expect high energy at the festival and a lot of supercars and expensive models of vehicles, which is not the same as other burnout events,” he said.
Selekta Base said the festival was unique because it brings together people from all walks of life in a family-friendly atmosphere.
“The Blowout Festival also brings people together of different races, age groups and families. Again, this is a bit different from the other burnout events.”
