HIGHFIELD-based Black Moses Academy will host the second edition of the annual Highfield Sports Arts awards at China Gardens in Milton Park tomorrow.

The awards ceremony will honour outstanding sportspersons, who excelled during the 2023 season and Black Moses Academy chairman Moses Nyamhotsi said they are looking forward to a wonderful ceremony.

“We are going to host the annual awards ceremony at China Gardens on Sunday where we will honour some outstanding athletes.

“The ceremony will involve several athletes who did well during the past year. As an academy we specialise in body-building, strongmen and strong-women, aerobics and arts among several other sports activities.

“We are happy that we have managed to hold this awards and we aim to motivate the athletes to do well next year.

“We have several categories like sports-person of the year, most dedicated athlete, most improved athlete, medic of the year, business partner of the year as well as the coach of the year,” said Nyamhotsi.

The chairman said they are glad to have some partners who have come on board to support them.

“We are grateful to all those who came on board to support the initiative as we are working hard to fight against drug and alcohol abuse.

“There are some players who come on to support us like OK Zimbabwe, Kiddycamp, ZFC Aspindale, Musanhi Investments, Tully Petroleum among many several others,” added Nyamhotsi.
