Highfield Utd lose again

to Harare City in an exciting Zifa Northern Region Division One match.
The cash-rich side is yet to win a match this season after losing 0-1 to La Liga and 1-2 to Black Rhinos.
Harare City, under the guidance of veteran coach Bigboy Mawiwi, found their first goal in the 45th minute through Jealous Wilson.
The winger dribbled past his markers and slotted home after beating Highfield goalkeeper Samuel Mafukidze.
Highfield United equalised in the 73rd minute through substitute Takudzwa Chimwemwe who received a through ball, just outside the box, and slammed home.
But the team owned by the Harare City Council recovered and, five minutes later, they scored the winning goal.
Former Eagles man Trymore Nyamadzawo finished a fine delivery from Godfrey Nguwodzawo.
Both teams played attacking football but it was the experienced Harare City who went home smiling.
The Highfield United duo of Peter Ndlovu and Protasho Kabwe, who are on loan to Black Mambas, watched the match from terraces.
While it is back to the drawing board for the Highfield United technical department composing Wilson Mutekede, Mike Madzivanyika and Gift “Umbro” Muzadzi, it all looks good for Mawiwi.
Former Eagles coach Mawiwi said his team has began on a right footing.
“It was a tough match and we knew before coming into this battle that it would tough. The changes we made paid us.
“We beat Highfield because our players were keeping the ball.
“We are gunning for the league title and we are happy that we have started well, winning twice and a draw,” said Mawiwi.
Newboys La Liga’s fine run continued with a 2-0 away victory to Cossy Rules at Rimuka.
Former Premiership sides Mwana Africa and Black Rhinos also maintained their unbeaten start.
