Highlanders board member Sikhosana cheats death

HIGHLANDERS board member Cosmas Sikhosana cheated death by a whisker when his vehicle was sideswiped by a truck resulting in it veering off the road in Harare on Sunday night. Sikhosana said he struggled to avoid hitting poles and trees. He said the accident happened when he was on his way home in Chitungwiza.
Sikhosana who sounded to be still in a shock, said the vehicle was extensively damaged.
“What is disturbing is that the driver of the truck that hit me did not stop. There were poles on the sideways and I shudder to think what could have happened had I hit one of them,” said Sikhosana who holds a senior management position at Hunyani.

The company like many others from Bulawayo recently relocated to the capital.
Sikhosana joined the Highlanders board together with Justice Nicholas Mathonsi in 2009 during the Themba Ndlela reign as Highlanders chairman and is a member of the board’s human resources sub committee.

He is also a member of the Highlanders electoral court that oversees the electoral process.
