HIGHLANDERS Darts Club continued with their miserable start to the Bulawayo Metropolitan Province Darts Association League when they fell to their third straight defeat on Wednesday night. Bosso, deserted by a number of seasoned players last season, were 16-23 losers to Maison Nic. While the Bosso dynasty continues to shrink, darts powerhouses Railstars, Parkview Lions and champions Archers got routine wins. League runners-up Railstars chalked a 29-10 win over police side Unit Fairbridge while a Peter Dube-inspired Parkview Lions took full advantage of home advantage to register a 23-16 win over visiting gold miners How Mine with the Highlanders chairman capping a fine evening with a single 180 and 140 match plays respectively.
Record breaking champions Archers marched on and maintained their proud record with a 29-10 victory over prison warders Khami Prisons.
Championship dark horses Wisewaters escaped with a narrow win over Old Nic Mine, managing to scrape through 20-19 and keep their hopes of a major upset alive.
