HIGHLANDERS Darts Club are targeting to end their miserable start to the season with a win against Railstars in the Bulawayo Metropolitan Province Darts League match to be played at Raylton Sports Club tonight. Struggling Highlanders are bubbling with confidence after they managed to give Archers a hard time in their last encounter.  But a defeat against league runners-up could worsen their woes as they have already suffered three straight defeats prior to tonight’s encounter.

Bulawayo Darts Association board member and Highlanders player Lethukuthula Nkomo said they are targeting nothing less than a victory against buoyant Railstars. “We will try to give it all like we did against Archers.  This match is essential for us because we have to turn things around after a slow start. We are positive to disappoint Railstars.  We are aiming for nothing less than a win,” said Nkomo.

Railstars captain Charles Widzisa said they will approach the match with caution.
“We know how Highlanders play.  We will approach the match with caution.  It won’t matter how they played in their previous games. That won’t stop us.  We want to maintain our pole position and maintain our title chase, so points against them are important,” said Widzisa.

Fixtures:
Archers v Maison Nic, Highlanders v Railstars, Bellevue v Wisewaters, Parkview Lions v Old Nic Mine, New Dawn v PPC Wolves, Unit Fairbridge v School of Mines, ZRP Bulawayo v How Mine, Parkview Kanka v Khami.
