Highlanders player Mayibongwe Ndlovu is moving to the USA on a football scholarship. Ndlovu, who started with the junior team Bosso 90 and played for the senior team last season, will attend Coker University in South Carolina.

The 20-year-old earned this opportunity after participating in a try out last year.

The Bulawayo club announced on Facebook: “We are delighted to share that Mayibongwe has been awarded a prestigious football scholarship by Vision2Africa to attend Coker University in South Carolina, USA.

“This great achievement will allow Mayibongwe to pursue his academic and athletic goals over the next four years.

“We wish him all the best as he begins this exciting journey. May this opportunity open new doors and lead to a bright future in football and beyond.” (Soccer24)
