Highlanders Royals biggest winners in latest Southern Region soccer round

HIGHLANDERS Royals Football Club got their second win in a row after walloping log leaders Ubuntu Queens 3-0 at home.

It was Ubuntu’s first defeat of the season.

They are now a point behind Ubuntu and climbed up to second position.

Sixth placed Las Palmas drew 1-1 with Lobengula Queens at home, and they will be disappointed as they started the season as one of the teams which were tipped to be challenging for the title.

Lobengula Queens remain in fourth position.

Fifth placed Blackboots and ZRP Bulawayo in position seven played out to a goalless draw in a ZRP derby which was played at Unit Fairbridge.
