Hippo Valley face South Downs

ZIFA Eastern Region Division One pacesetters Hippo Valley return to their favourite hunting ground, Chishamiso, when they face Chipinge outfit South Downs tomorrow afternoon. The two teams are meeting for the second time in as many weeks. South Downs handed Moses “Bambo” Chunga’s men their first defeat of the season a fortnight ago.
Chunga had gone for 14 matches without a loss.
He believes their loss came at the right time.

“I think that defeat was a wake-up call and as always I recommend the boys for a good job they have done so far,” Chunga said.
“The team played well in the last match but we lost which is possible in the game.

“We always expect any result and meeting the same team will be good for us as we still have a point to prove,” Chunga added.
Meanwhile, the Northern Region Soccer League will be taking a break to pave way for the CHAN international match between Zimbabwe and Maritius.
