His Word is the light

“THE entrance of your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple,” wrote the Psalmist in Psalms 119:130.

This goes well with creation in the first chapter of Genesis — where the earth was without form, and void, and darkness was upon the face of the deep.

“Then God said, ‘Let there be light!’ So there was light.” — Genesis 1:3

God saw and confirmed the good in light.  His Word is the light.

Job 22:21-22 reads: “Submit to God, and you will have peace; then things will go well for you. Listen to His instructions, and store them in your heart.”

You submit to God by submitting to His Word. Make the Word the standard of your life and you will experience His peace, even in the midst of trials and tribulations.

Peace is not the absence of war, conflict or contradictions, but knowing that Jesus has overcome on your behalf; that He is with you always.

It is knowing and confessing that all is well with you, spirit and body, despite contradictions.

Use the Word to confess the future you want and not the future you fear. The Word has the power to turn around situations.

God simply said let there be light in the midst of darkness and there was light.
