Hit and run accident in Bulawayo leaves cyclist injured

A cyclist sustained head injuries after being hit by a car along the Bulawayo-Victoria Falls road and the driver did not stop.

In a post on X, Police say they are investigating a hit and run accident in Bulawayo that happened on Monday.

“Police in Bulawayo are investigating a serious hit and run road traffic accident which occurred on 29/04/24 at Orap turn-off along Bulawayo-Victoria Falls Road in which a cyclist was hit by an unknown motorist. The motorist did not stop.

The victim sustained head injuries and was taken to Mpilo Hospital for treatment. Anyone with information to report at any nearest Police Station.”
