provincial championships at Eiffel Flats Primary School in Kadoma starting today.
The tournament will feature teams from Mashonaland West, Matabeleland, Mashonaland Central, Midlands, Manicaland, Harare, Bulawayo, Mashonaland East, Masvingo and Southern East District.
The two-day event is set for today and tomorrow and is targeting players from primary schools.
Harare A are the defending champions and will be out to defend their title when the competition takes off today.
Eiffel Flats Primary School deputy head, Alison Kondowe said they are looking forward to a competitive tournament.
“This is an annual event. It’s going to be a very competitive competition because it’s a national event with players from across the country. It’s a boys hockey tournament to promote the sport and to select a primary schools Zimbabwe hockey Under-13 team,” said Kondowe.
