YOU’VE never seen a free show sell out, until now!
The inaugural Ekhaya Worship Festival has shaken up Bulawayo’s gospel scene with a record-breaking, registration-only “sold out” crowd packing the Zimbabwe International Exhibition Centre Hall 3 today for a soul-shaking celebration of faith, healing and music.
From the first soundcheck to the final lighting cue, the venue is electric with expectancy as the city hosts what is being dubbed the biggest gospel showdown in recent memory. It is all part of gospel star Everton Mlalazi’s belated birthday bash.
Set to run from 2PM till 10PM, the power-packed line-up is nothing short of heavenly: Canaan Nyathi, Omega Khunou, Xolisa Kwinana and Sbu Noah from South Africa are gracing the stage alongside Once More Six, Reality 7, Takesure Zamar, Mkhululi Bhebhe, and Zimbabwe’s own powerhouse Abigail Mwembe.

However, it’s not just a star affair, local voices are roaring to life with top-tier praise from Mai Mwamuka, Pastor Barak, Lorraine Maplanka, Vusa Mangena, Conquerors Afrika, VOP Music, Snowy, and more, all backed by the dynamic Harvest House Choir.
And it’s not all praise and no purpose, the on-site Health Expo, which started at 10AM, is offering free medical consultations, screenings, and medication, proving that this festival is serious about healing both the spirit and the body.
Festival co-organiser Kevin “The Wedding Planner” Zhou couldn’t hide his amazement:
“We didn’t expect this response. It’s a free event, but digital tickets were snapped up! Still, no one will be turned away. If you want to worship, you’re welcome.”
Online “seats” are gone and worshippers are still flooding in, this is more than just a concert — it’s a movement.

From the pulpit to the pulse, the Ekhaya Worship Festival is raising the roof and raising hearts in a divine collision of music, ministry, and miracle.
Praise the Lord — Bulawayo is on holy fire!
