HAS rapper Holy Ten now found the right balance with fame?
He appears to have learnt that fame is not everything.
The rapper wants to be the old “Holy Ten” who was humble and sociable.
For the past-one-and-a-half years, Holy Ten has been surrounded by drama.
He has also created a lot of drama, either through his lyrics or through his actions.
Some of his fans, and critics, have been labelling him as someone who is consumed by the pursuit of fame.
But, whatever the case, whether one hates him or likes him, the reality is that he is someone who simply can’t be ignored.
“Now more than ever I’m enjoying ini, I’m back in 2020 mode. Now I’m back walking in supermarkets, I’m walking muma streets, playing snooker and ndirikukwira makombi.
“Ndiri munhu wenyama and not being limited by the ‘fame’ is feeling GOOD,” he wrote on his Facebook page.
Last weekend, he was booed off stage at Miss NUST Bulawayo after an angry crowd cut his performance short.
But, that is all part and parcel of the showbiz business.
To his credit, Holy Ten has refused to let that bring him down.
Instead, he has seemingly found a way to use that to strengthen himself.
