Homosexuality storm tears family apart

The son of a Seventh Day Adventist Pastor Gwenda has been caught in a gay storm and sources confirm cosy pictures of him with another man might tear the family to shreds.

The couple on the pictures who are only known as Byron Gwenda and Jack Ray are seen sitting while passionately kissing.

A neighbour who opened up to B-Metro on how the family had been broken over these pictures said: “The Gwenda family has been destroyed by their son Byron. He was their pride and joy. Ever since his pictures hit social media the father was seen leaving their house and according to the house help a divorce is rumoured due to his son’s actions.”

It is alleged that the father to Byron is accusing his mother of having raised him poorly while is it whispered the mother blames her husband of not having been around more to care for him.

“The father travels too much so we hear that the couple are blaming each other and that a divorce could be happening sooner than expected,” added Mandivenga Zharare, a neighbour.

B-Metro caught up with Byron who panicked: “Are the pictures that you have nude ones? What pictures, and can we come to an arrangement to make this go away because this will break my family apart. How will my girlfriend look at me?”

A relative of the family hinted: “Byron’s actions have broken the family apart, his mother and father could separate and his father recently moved out of the house. It’s heartbreaking that as a pastor you raise a child expecting to one day have grandchildren and leave behind your successor — only to find out through social media that your beloved son is someone’s girlfriend — it’s shattering.”

A friend of the duo, however, felt it was the community that misunderstood them: “The community needs to stop judging and accept us, we are the same and we are after the same things; love, and happiness. It’s not like we are criminals who go around killing or raping people.

“We are decent human beings and how we choose to behave sexually and emotionally should not bother anyone, especially if it doesn’t impinge on anyone from living their life,” said a furious Simbarashe Gwezera.
