Hotels offer holiday promotions

Players in the tourism industry are expecting a boom in bookings during the Heroes and Defence Forces Day holidays.
Some hotels are offering specials to guests who book with them during the long weekend, which started on Friday and ends tomorrow.The president of Hospitality Association of Zimbabwe Mr Tich Hwingwiri said most promotions were targeting domestic tourists.

“They are having specials and promotions to promote local customers” said Mr Hwingwiri.  “Some of them are giving promotions like, you pay for three nights and then the fourth night is for free.”

He said the promotions will encourage locals to visit local holiday resorts
