NYADZONYA 2ON this day, August 9, 1976, the special counter-insurgency unit of the Rhodesia Forces, the Selous Scouts, carried out a heinous attack on the Nyadzonia Camp in Mozambique, which held Zanu refugees, killing between 1 000 and 2 000 people.
