Bishop B. Manjoro Dunamis
All my life in the work of God I have taught, lived and walked by faith. I have seen and am still seeing what faith can do. In this article I will walk with you in God’s word and show you how you can turnaround any hopeless situation and see your miracle manifest right before your eyes.
There is a way that God has for us that can produce what we long for in this year of the Lord’s favour.
As you read I challenge you to not just read but to lift up your faith and trust God for your miracle for whatever we are taught if we don’t mix it with faith it will not produce fruit.
Hallelujah!
“And in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots. And Peter calling to remembrance saith unto him, Master, behold, the fig tree which thou cursedst is withered away.” And Jesus answering saith unto them, “Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them,” Mark 11:20-24.
The story above is one morning prior to crusades that Jesus had had and is tired. He sees a fig tree with leaves. You see, normally when a fig tree has leaves it has fruits, it’s unlikely to have leaves and no fruits. So the Master was expecting something from the tree.
But he saw not even one fruit. Then the Lord said, “Let no man ever eat you again.”
This didn’t quite move the disciples because they looked at the tree but saw nothing visible happening to it, withering or drying.
Here is the first thing I need you to understand, you see when you walk by faith you don’t walk by what you see, No, No. we don’t walk by sight. Nothing happened to the tree that they could see that time but something had happened. The Word of the Lord does not fail.
It does not return void.
Peter, still troubled, looked on the tree the following day. He was surprised to see the tree dried to the roots.
My interpretation is that the tree was dried and overturned otherwise how could he see the dried roots?
They were supposed to be in the soil, roots are in the soil but he saw them — dried up. Even if you cut a tree with an axe today, it won’t be dried up by tomorrow, it will take a week or so.
But the word of the Lord had spoken. O faith people believe before they see.
They believe the word. They see it before they see it. I got excited last week when I heard a testimony from a couple in our church that hired people to drill a borehole at their home. After drilling they hit a rock and were told no water here but a rock and if we are to continue it will cost you lot of money. They were dumbfounded and wondered what to do until the husband said do you remember in the Bible Moses struck a rock with his rod and water came out? This is not an impossible situation, water can come out.
And the wife said but we don’t have the rod of Moses? Defiant and with stubborn faith the man said, you have the Bishop’s cell-phone right? Call him and have him pray and speak a word, that’s the rod we need. The wife surely called and I prayed over the phone. Moments later the engineers wanted to drill a little bit more and water gushed out, abundant water such that the very people who had told them there is no water here, told them you have an excess supply of water here!
O I like it when people believe God like that. Was it anything to do with me, No. The couple believed God!
Listen even if given three months’ notice at work and you are now depressed and thinking all is over, No, no, no, it’s not over, it’s just beginning.
Tell the letter you are a three-year notice not three months! God honours faith, faith in His Word. Friends, heaven hears. For your miracle to manifest you must have desire first. Jesus said “You shall have whatsoever things you desire.”
Things, means things, all things. It could be tangible or non-tangible things, peace, good health, tractors, buses, cars, houses. Whatsoever things you desire you will get.
I desire that all of you prosper. When you desire then you pray. What is to pray?
Let me simplify it. Praying is talking. It’s just that you will be talking to God.
There is a story of a man who was fasting and wanted to break his fast with tea but had no bread. He prayed loud, “Lord remember I’m breaking my fast today and need bread to break the fast.”
A group of men who were playing cards somewhere near his house got irritated with the man’s prayer until they agreed hey why don’t we buy a loaf of bread, put it on his side and see what he will say when he finishes this irritating prayer.
They did so.
And when the man opened his eyes and saw the bread, he thanked God passionately,
Ah God I know you are faithful, thank you for giving me bread to break my fast with just as I desired and asked you. The men laughed at him and said, “Come on it’s us who put that loaf whilst you were praying, it’s not God who gave you.” Adamant, the man said “No, you didn’t give me bread, it’s God who gave me because if I had told you I need bread you would not have given me but I told God and he heard me and brought me bread to break my fast just as I desired and asked him!”
O this is wonderful, I like it, I like it, that faith.
Desire is the road to the manifestation of your miracle. You desire it; you declare it; you believe it and manifestation takes place. For with God all things are possible, Mark 10:27
