A border-garrison company of the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) in southwest Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region was awarded the honourary title of “Model Company for Defending and Protecting Borders.”
Xu Jianping, an aircraft maintenance expert for the PLA’s Air Force, and He Min, a surgeon with the PLA’s Fourth Military Medical University, were awarded honourary titles for their dedication to their posts. In the other order of commendation, the PLA’s No. 63612 troop, the Air Force’s August 1st Aerobatics Team, a regiment of the Air Force’s flying school and an institute for Marxism Study with the PLA’s National Defence University were awarded the first-class merit of citation. Another two units were awarded a second-class merit of citation and a third-class merit of citation.
