Huge turnout at Mash Eagles coaching clinic

huge turnout yesterday and the organisers believe that it was one of the best Junior Eagles shows ever.
Mash Eagles development officer, Francis Rashikayi, said their junior clinic went according to plan.
“We were very happy with the turnout, we managed to train many up-and-coming cricketers. We had specialist coaching sessions for different age-groups in all facets of the game. Most participants enjoyed the individual attention,” said Rashikayi.
The clinic entertained kids aged between five and 16 years-old.
A number of experts, coaches and established players were also involved in the coaching clinic.  Tatenda Gumbo, a seven-year-old, hailed the impact the clinic made on him.
“I enjoyed the clinic, I learnt a lot and I also enjoyed the quality of the coaches as they were patient with us and ensured that we understood the game.
“I play cricket at my school but I could not understand all what is required to be a good cricketer and, after the clinic, I now understand the game,” said Gumbo.
