Hwange goalie dies after colliding with opponent

LUSUMBANI FC goalkeeper Johnson Shumba died Wednesday morning at Mpilo Hospital.

Lusumbani FC, who play in the Matabeleland North Province Division Two League advised that
Shumba, succumbed to injuries he sustained after a clash with an opponent during a match against Hwange FC Reserves.

“On a sad note our goalkeeper Johnson Shumba passsd on this morning at Mpilo Hospital. Our condolences to the Shumba family,the football fraternity and the Lusumbami community,” said Lusumbami FC through their official social media platforms .-@FungaiMuderere
