I am married to the stage: Chigubu

Bongani Ndlovu Entertainment Correspondent
BULAWAYO comedian Clive Chigubu says the idea of getting married is far from him, as he is in “love” with the stage. In an interview with Chronicle Entertainment yesterday, the funny man revealed he does  not  plan to get married anytime soon. Quizzed about when he was going to get married, Chigubu said: “I am married to the stage. The stage is my wife and she never disappoints.

“When I sweat, my performance is judged by the loud cheers in the crowd. When I say Ye Yeeeah, she responds positively.”
Chigubu said there was no rush to get married as the time would come when he divorces the stage.

“I will get married maybe when I am 50 years old. I am still dancing with comedy and the adventure has been worth the while,” he said.
Chigubu did not give details whether or not he had a girlfriend.

Chigubu, Van Moyo, Doc Vikela and Gift the Cracker will invade Masvingo this weekend.
