Miley Cyrus has addressed reports that her recent illness was caused by a drug overdose. Speaking at a Press conference in London on Tuesday, Miley stated: “I didn’t have a drug overdose. I took some antibiotics that a doctor gave me for a sinus infection and I had a reaction.”
Last month, Miley cancelled the remaining five dates of her US tour after she suffered a severe allergic reaction to antibiotics.
However, with the European dates now kicking off in London, the star has confessed she feels better than ever. “I’m the poster child for good health,” she added, saying she have been “connected to an IV for the last two weeks. I’m going to go off!”. You have no idea how ready I am. There is nothing I would rather not do than lay in a bed for two weeks. It was the most miserable two weeks of my life,”
She also revealed that she doesn’t drink alcohol while she is on tour. “I’m probably the only one on this tour who doesn’t drink or smoke before a show, as I take this really seriously.
“It’s almost like being an athlete being up here.” – TMZ.
