appointed a committee to investigate allegations surrounding the dethronement of Miss Personality, Lungile Mathe.
Minister Mzembi said he was interested in fairness and that the enquiries by the gender committee of the Zimbabwe Tourism Authority be done away from the public and media glare.
“I am confident that with the measures that we have taken, the girl child that we seek to protect, will be given a fair hearing,” said Minister Mzembi.

He said from his collection, ZTA chief executive officer, Mr Karikoga Kaseke, was not implicated in any shady dealing with respect to the issue.
The minister was responding to a question from Shurugwi South MP, Cde Annastancia Ndlovu (Zanu-PF) who had asked what his ministry was doing to protect the girl child.
Mathe was stripped of her title after she was allegedly arrested for stealing a wrist-watch owned by a local businessman who had reportedly hired her for a one night stand.
