HE says he is coming to shut down Harare and, a month before he performs in the capital, American rapper DaBaby is already rocking the show.
And, interest is rising among music lovers, as The Talk Chart DaBaby concert draws closer.
He is set to perform at the Old Harrarians in the capital on September 23.
The tickets for the concert are now on sale.
The show is being organised by Roar Entertainment, the same promoters who brought highly-rated rapper Rick Ross to Harare.
Expressing his excitement, as it will be his first time in the country, the American rapper revealed that he might stay in Zimbabwe for a couple days.
“I might come early, spend a couple of days with y’all, then do the concert, and spend a couple more days after that.
“We (are) shutting down, Zimbabwe. September 23rd, I will be performing live at Old Hararians.

After the concert was announced, Roar Entertainment announced they were looking for upcoming artists to share the stage with DaBaby.
Artists from across the country were to record a 30-second video while singing.
The artists were rapping to DaBaby’s RockStar instrumental.
The winner would get a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to perform with Holy Ten at the Talkchart DaBaby concert.
The best rap video will be determined by the people.
DaBaby’s connection with Africa runs deep as he embarked on an unforgettable journey to Lagos, Nigeria, in May last year.
The purpose of his visit was to shoot the music video for his song “Showing Off Her Body” and immerse himself in the vibrant Lagos lifestyle.
During his stay, he was warmly hosted by the Nigerian superstar Davido, further solidifying the bond between the American rapper and the African music scene.
