ICT Minister Mavetera, Deputy Minister Phuti in Byo ahead of Innovation Expo closing

MINISTER of Information Communication Technology, Postal and Courier Services Tatenda Mavetera accompanied by her deputy Dingumuzi Phuti have arrived in Bulawayo ahead of the closing ceremony of the Innovation Expo and Conference.

The event being hosted by telecommunication regulator Potraz started on Tuesday and concludes Saturday under the theme, “Harnessing Local Innovation for Inclusive Industrial Transformation and
Sustainable Development”.

Throughout the week, participants took part in discussions that include business mentorship, industry solution demonstrations, innovation showcase and deal rooms, public sector and industry keynotes, policy dialogue and commercial deal making, commercialisation dialogue and stakeholder validation.

Minister Mavetera is expected to deliver the keynote remarks before presiding over the awards ceremony.
