Information Communication Technology (ICT) and Postal and Courier Services Minister Tatenda Mavetera, Deputy Minister Dingumuzi Phuti and other senior officials in the ministry signed the Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission integrity pledge today.

Minister Mavetera said integrity paves the path to success.
“Today my ministry has taken a huge step towards the attainment of Vision 2030 by promoting integrity, thereby fighting corruption,” she said.
“As a ministry, we are committing to zero tolerance to corruption. We are not only witnessing the signing of the integrity pledge but also the launch of the ministerial integrity committee made up of men and women of morality.
“We need to look at the vision and aspirations of the Second Republic which is led by President Mnangagwa who is saying we need to be accountable and transparent. This is what we are doing as a ministry,” said the Minister.

Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission (ZACC) chairperson Mr Michael Reza said the signing of the integrity pledge is a symbolic gesture of individual and institutional commitment to eradicating corruption in Zimbabwe.
“As we sign the pledge, we are not only committing ourselves to individual integrity but also to collective accountability,” he said.
“We must acknowledge that our actions have consequences, not only for ourselves but also for our communities and future generations.”
As an institution mandated to lead the fight against corruption, Mr Reza said ZACC took a deliberate approach to build strong, transparent, and accountable institutions.
