Lucky once, twice you are good!

Bulawayo-based Zim-Dancehall muso Ma9nine is over the moon as the Gigabyte hit maker has returned to the United Kingdom where is set to stage two shows courtesy of Shanyai Events’ “Dzemudanga Zimdancehall Explosion” tour.

This is the second time for Ma9nine to tour the UK as he was also part of Shanyai Event’s tour last year in November, which saw him sharing the stage with some of the region’s greats like Jeys Marabini as well as Freddy Gwala.

This time around he will perform at two events — in Dunstable on 2 March as well as at Birmingham on 3 March, where he will share the stage with artistes like Lady Bee, Ndunge Yut, Dhadza D, Mbida D, Pumacol, South Africa’s Zizwe, and Lindough (Thuphaki and Kingsport) of the Ok’salayo hit.

Ma9nine revealed that he arrived safely and he feels blessed to have been called once more to perform overseas.

“I arrived safely here in the UK (on 28 February) and I am delighted to have been called by the Shanyai Events management team to be part of the Dzemudanga Zimdancehall Explosion tour.

“I have been praying for days like these and it’s a dream come true as God has answered my prayers. I never thought I would go overseas, courtesy of my talent. However,I am here today (in the UK) for the second time in four months.

“I will be sharing the stage with some of Zim Dancehall’s gifted creatives, as well as Lindough and Kingshort from Mzansi. The shows are going to be epic and like always I promise to deliver a splendid performance,” said Ma9nine.

He says his major highlight on travelling to the UK on this particular show was meeting millionaire Sir Wicknell Chivayo at the Robert Mugabe International Airport.

“The guy is very humble. I am surprised because he knows some of my songs. I was ecstatic meeting him at the airport. He is one of the people who are providing massive support to local creatives. Meeting him for the first time in my life was like I was dreaming,” said Ma9nine.
